Micah Saldivar was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He was inspired by his biggest mentor, Emmy award-winning journalist/ videographer, José Jesús Cedeño and gained a passion for media. Micah picked up photography as a hobby at age 12. He then moved to Arizona at age 16 to focus on his future and earn his high school diploma. At age 17, Micah Saldivar enlisted in the Army National Guard. Before leaving to basic combat training, Micah kept pursuing photography and explored his horizons. As Micah’s photography skills progressed, many people started booking him for photo shoots. He has photographed concerts, weddings, baby showers, restaurant advertisements, car shows, gender reveals, maternity shoots and many other events/personal portraits. Micah’s photography was also noticed by the military and was the camera man for his National Guard unit. As of October 2020, Micahs photography has been featured on CNN, Travel Oklahoma, Comachecounty.us, Dodge, and many other reputable companies. Micah has kept the promise he made to himself; that after his army training, he would take photography seriously and make it his priority to become a known photographer. Micah has reached his goal of becoming a full time photographer after several years of chasing his passion.
